Wood lid gets moldy

I’ve had my cup only a few weeks. Love how cute it is and that it is not plastic. I only used it for water and one time coconut water. When cleaning it I notice it had black mold embedded in the wood grains. This was a bit pricey for my budget but wanted to update my cup I use at work. Kind of disappointing - I can’t use it with the lid.

Beware Bamboo Lid

I really have enjoyed this tumbler. The cons are that the lid started to turn black, I don’t know if it was mold or not but I wasn’t going to chance it so I tossed it out. I only use it for water and wash it after each use. I’m also not a huge fan of the silicone sleeve.
