Paint discoloured and peeled

This was the 2nd Pinky up kettle I bought. I love the look of them and especially appreciate that they have real wooden handles. No cheap plastic parts. Unfortunately the last one I got was the white one and I wish I had chosen the Rose gold again because not long after use I noticed that the paint had started to discolour around the bottom of the kettle, and little bits around the handle were flaking off when washed. I have had it just over a year, and disappointed and determined to try to get it clean, I soaked it in hot soapy water, and when I took it out to scrub it, the paint peeled right off. I was shocked that it would come away so easily. I still love the function of this kettle but, in honesty, I have never been happy with the aesthetics of the one I recieved.

Love this!

I was looking for a tea kettle that would like nice and function well as I drink tea daily. This looks great on the stove and works great. I would say it's a little thinner/lightweight than other kettles I've owned, but it's surely the most stylish.
